چکیده

• Tetrahydrocurcumin (THC) improves glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) mice. THC regulates the expression of oxidoreductase genes lipid-metabolizing enzyme NAFLD increases antioxidant capacity inhibits deposition HepG2 cells by activating NRF2 signaling pathway. Nonalcoholic is most common metabolic world. In this study we investigated effect tetrahydrocurcumin (THC), a potent antioxidant, on NAFLD. We found that significantly reduced body weight, serum lipids, malondialdehyde (MDA) fasting blood (FBG) male mice induced feeding high-fat diet (HFD) for 8 weeks. A RNA-seq analysis revealed also affected many involved mice, including increasing mRNA CYP51 FOXQ1 . Moreover, sodium oleate-induced accumulation, activated pathway, up-regulated FGF21 cells. Overall, our showed can improve liver, which suggests dietary may be used to treat

Lipoprotein metabolism in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), an escalating health problem worldwide, covers a spectrum of pathologies characterized by fatty accumulation in hepatocytes in early stages, with potential progression to liver inflammation, fibrosis, and failure. A close, yet poorly understood link exists between NAFLD and dyslipidemia, a constellation of abnormalities in plasma lipoproteins including ...

Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is known to be associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer (CRC). However, the relationship between NAFLD and the prognosis of CRC remains unclear. The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) rates in patients with CRC and the secondary objective was to compare clinicopathologic...

Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (or NAFLD) is a recently recognized chron ic liver disease, strongly linked to obesity. As the number of obese Americans has doubled in the past three decades, not sur prisingly, NAFLD is becoming increasingly common. The hallmark of persons with NAFLD is having too much fat in the liver. This fat is deposited within the cells of the liver (the medical term is...

Lipid zonation and phospholipid remodeling in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) can progress from simple steatosis (i.e., nonalcoholic fatty liver [NAFL]) to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), cirrhosis, and cancer. Currently, the driver for this progression is not fully understood; in particular, it is not known how NAFLD and its early progression affects the distribution of lipids in the liver, producing lipotoxicity and inflamm...
